1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Lumina, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Lumina is a wellness application that provides guided fasting protocols, habit tracking, journaling, educational content, and community features. The service is designed for informational and motivational purposes only.

3. Health Disclaimer

Lumina does not provide medical advice. The fasting protocols, dietary suggestions, and wellness practices presented in this app are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fasting, dietary, or exercise protocol, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication.

If you experience dizziness, fainting, heart palpitations, severe headache, or any unusual symptoms while using Lumina's protocols, discontinue immediately and seek medical attention.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use Lumina. You will be asked to provide your date of birth at sign-up to confirm this.
• One person may maintain only one account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users through community features or messaging
• Post content that is offensive, harmful, misleading, or that constitutes medical advice
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the service

When using community features (posts, messaging, connections), you agree to communicate respectfully and supportively. Content that promotes dangerous health practices, provides unauthorized medical advice, or violates the wellbeing of others may be removed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within Lumina, including but not limited to text, teachings, educational materials, design elements, and the Lumina brand, is the intellectual property of Lumina and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

Content you create (journal entries, community posts, messages) remains yours, but you grant Lumina a license to display it within the application as necessary to provide the service.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of Lumina is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

9. Disclaimers

Lumina is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific health or wellness goals.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Lumina after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
